Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted)

The government department responsible for monitoring the quality of education in England (outside Universities) is generally known by its shortened form - 'Ofsted'.

Ofsted is the office for standards in education, children's services and skills. They regulate and inspect to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.

Ruskin Mill College received a full Ofsted inspection at the end of May 2010.

The outcome of the inspection was Grade 1 - Outstanding.

Glasshouse College recieved a full Ofsted inspection at the end of November 2009.

The outcome of the inspection was Grade 2 - Good.

Freeman College received a full Ofsted inspection at the end of May 2010.

The outcome of the inspection was Grade 2 - Good.
