Clervaux Trust Awarded Grant to Improve Mental Health in Communities

Clervaux Trust has been awarded a grant by North Yorkshire County Council to help improve mental health in local communities as part of the new Clervaux Fold centre and its work with military families.
The drive to tackle the growing problem of mental ill-health in the region and to reduce the number of suicides is moving forward with funding for projects that aim to reduce loneliness and social and emotional isolation.
With the new funding, Clervaux Trust will be launching a greenwood working programme in the Spring aimed at military personnel designed to help them take time out for themselves, whilst meeting with peers. It will also give them the confidence to take up new hobbies and keep in touch with others.
