Crafting the Land
As the culmination of an exhibition exploring John Ruskin’s influence on Ruskin Mill Trust’s innovative craft-based curriculum, Freeman College in Sheffield is opening up bio-dynamic farm at High Riggs to the public on Saturday 29 June. This free event is a great opportunity to explore the gardens as well as take part in various craft workshops such as copper and woodworking.
Enjoy a pizza cooked in the farm’s own outdoor pizza oven, or fill your basket with fresh, organic and bio-dynamic vegetables grown on-site. There’s no need to book tickets (except for the copper trowel workshop at £35) so come along for a great family day out with Ruskin Mill Trust.
To book tickets to the copper trowel workshop, please contact Carol Baugh at gallery@fmc.rmt.org or on 0114 252 5972.
