Vacancy: Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Clervaux Garden School, based just outside Darlington, is looking to recruit a skilled manager to register as Interim Manager with Ofsted for the Meadows. You will have prior experience of working as a registered manager and be prepared to undergo all of the fitness check expected by Ofsted if you have not already. Due to the home being based in Stockton and Clervaux Garden School being in Darlington we can only consider applicants with a valid drivers license and their own vehicle.
The Meadows home is a beautiful farmhouse 17 miles from the school site; it is located on the outskirts of a small village making it a peaceful haven for young people, aged 10-19, who need a nurturing and homely environment. The home offers four residential placements, between 38 and 52 weeks, for any young people accessing educational day provisions at Clervaux Garden School. We work in partnership with the school to ensure the young person’s needs are met.
As well as the opportunity to lead a team of committed residential staff you will have a full induction where you
can experience first hand our craft based education and witness how it can provide the opportunities for growth
and development in our young people which they may not have been able to in mainstream provisions.
Although this role is intended to cover the current Head of Care, for the right candidate there is the potential for
a management role to become available at the end of the contract.
